If you have not read the first and second BrewDog beer reviews, do so NOW!
The "baby" version of the BrewDog Hardcore IPA is the Goldings IPA.
East Kent Goldings are very traditional English Pale Ale hops. This has a lighter bitterness than the Dana and the Waimea.
The color is also very similar, but more golden and less orange than the others.
Smell is more mild than the others. Similar Pine/citrus fruity aromas. Hints of caramel and bready malts.
The taste is more bready than the others. More pine than the other two. Has a bite, but less than Dana and Waimea. Caramel taste makes this unique compared to the rest of the IPA is dead collection . Very smooth carbonation.
I know some people who would claim this to be their favorite out of the IPA is dead collection. Personally, this doesn't stand out for me as much as the past two. I still very much enjoyed it, just hard to gauge it with the others. They are all similar, with small tweaks in taste and smell. I prefer the hops in the first two better, but I see the appeal of this one .
